Located since 1797 in Angers town center, the national Stud has been transferred to Le Lion d’Angers in the 70s, at the Isle Briand Domain. This place was formely an agricultural property of 160 hectares, and has been bought by the Maine et Loire County Council.
Discover the national Studs’ history, and see around : the stables and national sires, the laboratory, the tack room and the farrier.

A 10 minute walk from the car park to the reception area is required.
Special access for persons with reduced mobility on phone request.
The access is possible by boat! :
come by boat and leave it at the special place located at 5 minutes
