National carriage competition
On Sunday 6th September, a national carriage competition with donkeys will be organised at the national stud! Free admission.

In June, the national Stud
can be visited in a carriage!
You can take part to a carriage guided tour: you will appreciate this special tour within the Departmental Park of l'Isle Briand. You will discover the mares and foals, located in this magnificient domain of 160ha, where the national Stud is set since the 70s. For more details, please click here.
After a short walk through the natural setting of the Departmental Park of Isle Briand*, you can find out about the National Stud farm on a guided tour. The breeding secrets, the various traditional trades and activities of the Stud farm will be revealed: we will present you the stallions and their breeds: from the prestigious English thoroughbred, to the jumping champions ponies, as well as the impressive percherons, weighting almost a ton!
 
(-*10 minutes walking from the car park to the reception area - Possibility to come along the Mayenne river and leave your boat. A 5 minute-walk is necessary up to the reception area.)
